Chennai (RNS), 26 FEB 2026
India produced a batting masterclass against Zimbabwe in the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, posting a record-breaking 256/4 in 20 overs — their highest-ever total in T20 World Cup history.

It is also the first time India has crossed the 250-run mark in the tournament. This total now stands as the second-highest score in T20 World Cup history, behind Sri Lanka’s 260/6 against Kenya in 2007.
