The situation in Bairagiwala village under Sahaspur turned more volatile following the murder of BJP worker Vinod Kashyap. What began as a dispute over irrigation water escalated into large-scale unrest, with reports of vandalism, arson, and clashes creating a tense atmosphere across the area.
According to local sources, tensions intensified after the killing when a large crowd gathered in protest. During the unrest, some individuals allegedly brought a bulldozer and demolished houses belonging to Imtiaz and his brothers, who have been named in connection with the incident.
